Charlene Dy is a writer. She lives in New York City, where she's attending Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism.

She used to live in Manila, where she wrote about food, sex, and basketball. She won a couple of awards for her writing. Before that, she lived in Shanghai, where she wrote about fashion, shopping, and style. She's still a little embarrassed about that period of her life.
